Seven more settings for shows that will blow your mind during Anywhere Festival 2021

It’s Anywhere time, so five unexpected places to catch shows was never going to be enough. Here are seven more settings for shows during this year's festival that will blow your mind.

Amongst the fossils of long-extinct birds

Nonsemble have crafted a unique set of string and electronic music called Archaeopteryx for Anywhere 2021 that has been inspired by long-extinct birds. The kicker? You get to enjoy it amongst the fossils and remnants of Queensland Museum 's Lost Creatures exhibition. Magic! One night only.

Fully immerse yourself in the world of 19th Century Brisbane in one of our oldest buildings, Miegunyah House. Eve’s Game is an immersive mix of puzzles, play and historical adventure that tasks you with solving the disappearance of a local young woman.

Mappin’s Nursery is the setting for Meat Mirror, a performance activated, multimedia installation that explores the absurdity, horror and humour of society's obsession with life-threatening surgical enhancement. Colour us intrigued.

Set at West End's Ferry Terminal, experience short improvised tales of the unexplored lives of the people that surround you on public transport every day. Each show will be unique.
