The Secret Ingredient is a delicious treat for all the food and circus lovers in the family. Our Italian Head Chef is preparing the Special Sauce of your tastiest dreams, with the dubious assistance of a downtrodden, headphone-wearing and heavily tattooed apprentice.
The two cooks scamper in and out of the kitchen, the apprentice in search of a squeaky mouse and the tipsy chef convinced there is no such rodent. A range of improbable ingredients are added into the sauce, and there’s the age-old argument over doing the dishes. It’s not the tidiest kitchen to start with, but by the end of the day, it’s a right royal mess. Kids are squealing at the high jinks, especially the cavalier way the dishes are cleaned and then disposed of, by throwing them wildly wherever.
A mixture of real tricks, sleight of hand, and classic slapstick entertains the crowd as the two slide across kitchen benches, throw knives at each other and end up upside down in the kitchen sink. The Apprentice is very keen to try the Special Sauce, that is, until the secret ingredient is finally added….
It’s a fun romp of a show, just the type kids love with major mess, physical comedy and more than a splash of total anarchy. Oh, and a banging soundtrack!
